Thank you for this reminder… it has encouraged me to take some time to write my list of things that make me happy. I know what they are but I want to stare at them on paper. 💗
"The ability to turn a tough moment into a lesson, then a stepping stone, then a plan for change."
We suddenly and unexpectedly had to say goodbye to our fur child last Friday. Luna was always to be our last. We knew her loss would always hit us the hardest, but we thought we had a few more years. 32 years of being "childless cat ladies" (and one ferret). To say we are gutted is an understatement. Each day, we try to look at what our new "normal" entails. To see what "gifts" this has provided us. To look at all of the "time" we now possess, as our daily routines have drastically changed (as have our ability to travel). We would gladly trade it all for those few more years, but we know that we have to adjust to life as it is now.
hugs:)

Kris, what's important is mostly under your own roof. Your Mom, kids, baby Quill and Madonna.
This mountain chick misses you all. Love that I can always catch up by reading a bit. Xo
